Aces Casino Blog: Oh, Goody, ANOTHER Casino Game That Hates This Reporter - Make Way For The "Let It Ride" (Or Whatever They Call It) Game Trainer

Here at Aces Casino Entertainment, we just LOVE games - All kinds of games, from the traditional casino games that can be found in just about any reputable Las Vegas-based casino, to the various card and board games found at your local card shop and department store.  Bottom line -- When you're the top Orange county casino party company on the west coast, and the word "entertainment" is in your name, you had best know the Las Vegas gaming business.

And, without question, we DO.  (Ed. Note: They love YouTube, too, but that's another story.)

The best news of all in this shameless brag from the Aces Casino "Ministers of Propaganda" is that we ALSO love to SHARE our good fortune with our many clients up and down the California coast.  That's why our Aces Blog, A.K.a. the "Parakeet Paper," is such a useful tool -- We can interact not only with our many on-site orange county casino party clients at one of our many live fundraising and private party events, but also with people that find us right here on our blog.

So, to that end, the team at Aces Casino Entertainment have decreed that the month of May this year will be known as "Let's Play Games" month here on the blog.  Every Monday and Thursday here on the blog this month, we'll post a great link to one of the many fine Las Vegas-style casino game trainers for our fans to play with and try out.  Take one of our many game trainers for a spin, and see if you like the games, without the sting of playing for real money.

This edition of the Aces Blog's "Let's Play Games" series features the only game that I won my first big bet on, and haven't returned to the winners' circle since - Let It Ride.  (Don't make me tell my Let It Ride "bad beat" stories.)  You'll find the links to this great game simulator right under the corresponding image of the game.

I gotta be honest -- This game HATES me, so anyone that could beat this particular casino game gets props from this reporter..  But, even if you fared as well as I usually do, there's good news.... Just like at Aces Casino's many entertaining games, the chips are fake, but the information and experience of playing the games are real.   And, as always, a big thank-you goes out to the best source for information about all the casino games we love to the man known as the "Wizard Of Odds."   There isn't ANYONE more knowledgeable about all the inner workings of these games as the "Wizard."  Also, thanks to Bovada for the great game trainer.  Remember, just play for FUN and PRACTICE ONLY!  Aces Casino recommends playing just for fun, and will not be responsible for anyone that's stupid enough to sign up and play the game ANY other way.  NEVER play for real money, my friends.  We Don't, and you shouldn't, either.

That's all for now, my friends.  Take care, enjoy the games, courtesy of Aces Casino, the Orange county casino party leader, and we'll be back sometime in June with another batch of goofy and irreverent blog articles, including our last (but not least) game trainers - A double-dose of Video Poker!   (Ed. Note: Ahh, that's my favorite, too!)  We'll see you then!

Aces Casino Blog: Finally, a Game I Can Beat - Time To Split Those Hands, and Play Some Pai-Gow Poker

Ed. Note: Before we move on to our normal blog foolishness, we here at Aces Casino Entertainment wanted to post a word of thanks to all of the servicemen and women, former and current, who serve this great country of ours, both at home and abroad without a lick of hesitation.   Memorial Day is a day where we can also show our appreciation and remember those who have died for our country, protecting our rights here at home.  Thank you.

OK, with that taken care of, It's about time we got around to a game this reporter can actually BEAT.  (Ed. Note: "Beat" should be in quotes.  Winning $3 in 3 minutes, then leaving the table to go to dinner does NOT constitute "beating the game.")  As Jar-Jar Binks would say, if he was here right now, "Meesa Like-in da Pai-Gow Poka!"  (Ed. Note: Oh, BROTHER.  Thankfully, Binks is NOT here.  You're welcome.)

Here at Aces Casino Entertainment, we just LOVE games like Pai-Gow Poker.  Heck, we love All kinds of games, from the traditional casino games that can be found in just about any reputable Las Vegas-based casino, to the various card and board games found at your local card shop and department store.  Bottom line -- When you're the top Orange county casino party company on the west coast, and the word "entertainment" is in your name, you had best know the Las Vegas gaming business.

And, without question, we DO.

As yours truly has already mentioned, next up on the docket is one of my all-time favorites in any casino - Pai-Gow Poker, "the game that plays itself."  I mean, what better way is there to knock down a few brews, and let the dealer play your hand for you?  (Ed. Note: And THAT'S why he only won three bucks.  Three brews, three bucks.)  Hey - If you'd rather play the hand yourself, that's cool, also.  Take a crack at this excellent game trainer, it follows below, just click on the Pai-Gow image...

Sit down and play a few hands of Pai-Gow Poker!

Ahh, yes, Pai-Gow Poker..... Some of you also know that this game is traditionally played with domino-like tiles.  (Ed. Note: Yes, we can deal THAT way for our clients, as well.  Told you, we know our stuff.)  We hope you enjoyed this VERY good game trainer for Pai-Gow Poker.

Wow -- Looking at the calendar, we're almost out of dates in May to play games... That means we'll be closing out our "Let's Play Games" series with our final blog entry sometime in June (Ed. Note: Sometime in June?  WHEN in June?  I'd better take back the ship...) with not one, but TWO different full-blown "Video Poker" game trainers!  Hey -- You wouldn't expect any less from the top Orange County casino party company in SoCal, would you?  Enuff said... We'll see you back here on Thursday, when our Let It Ride game trainer gets it's turn at the "Let's Play Games" series!

Aces Casino Blog: An All-Star Team Of Entertainers Teamed Up To Put On Another "Five Star" Show at Downtown Disney (But Newton Was Our Favorite....)

(Ed. Note: Those loyal readers of the Aces Casino Blog that were expecting to find the Pai-Gow Poker Game Trainer here today will be disappointed to discover that, because of the following Aces Special Blog Report on Downtown Disney, that the game trainer blog scheduled for today has been moved back to Monday, May 27.  Actual cash value paid out to our readers that were adversely affected by this rescheduled blog entry - 1/100 of 1 cent.  Spend wisely.)

It goes without saying that the superstar crew over at Southern California's top Orange County casino party company (heretofore to be known as Aces Casino Entertainment) always looks forward to putting on a fantastic show at each and every venue in which they appear, but every once in a while we are brought into a special event where, as our team likes to put it, "The Stars in Heaven are Perfectly Aligned."  Such an event took place last weekend when Downtown Disney's Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar was the site recently for WSH&B's 2013 "Magic Hour."

With apologies to one of our all-time favorite clients, we'd call it the "2013 Magic 5 Hours."

You know, It's SO easy to make Aces Casino look like the best Orange county casino party company on the west coast when you're surrounded by so much talent in one event, but Downtown Disney does it every time we're there.  They don't pay us to say it, but there is no better event coordination and marketing team better than the Mouse, my friends.  They see to it that everything runs as smooth as silk, and they leave nothing to chance.  That's the main reason that we love to network with the best over at Disney.  Simply put, they ARE the best.

Now, it seems like we're the top headliner at just about EVERY event that we take part in, and we're more than happy to carry the ball for the home team every time out.  But, when it comes to WSH&B's events at Downtown Disney, we're MORE than happy to share the spotlight with some of the best people and entertainers in their field, as well as ours.  First, we HAVE to mention the photo booth extraordinaire that is brought to network with us by Anthony Barber over at Red Carpet Photo Booth

There's Anthony, showing he's not camera-shy.

Anthony's been on our Disney team for a while now, and he IS simply tops in the field.  He not only takes and provides the pictures of the guests, but he brings a TON of costumes and props that the guests can choose from, in order to spice up their paparazzi shots. Anthony does a great job with all of the guests, and his equipment gets some GREAT shots of the crowd every time out.

Next, everyone knows that every successful party needs a great party BAND.   And this year, the talent coordinators over at WSH&B out-did themselves with the band that appeared with us last weekend - They brought in a group call "FlashPants."  Now I had advance notice of FlashPants, when I saw them working out at a retro-80's bar back in January, when attending another event.  I knew they were going to wow the crowd, and they did not disappoint....

FlashPants.  Don't ask, I have no idea.

This is our first year working with this 80's/90's retro band, but we hope it isn't the last.  This energetic, interactive, fun band had our guests going CRAZY, all night long.  They know all of the good 80's songs, and the band's SOUND is second-to-none.  (You should hear them doing Gary Numan's 'Cars.')  You can check them out here, we'll guarantee you that you'll love 'em.  They're amazing.  So much fun.

And finally, we come to the portion of the entertainment that we adore most -- The casino night, of course.  While all of this other craziness is going on at the party, we're more than busy on the balcony overlooking Downtown Disney, and Aces Casino is doing their normal orange county casino night party thing for a BIG casino-crazy crowd.

All this, with one other small addition - Fantastic Fig.

Now, anybody that knows Aces Casino Entertainment knows that we just LOVE Paul Fegen, A. K. A. "Fantastic Fig," the best psychic magician and card-trick specialist in the business.  Some of you may remember "Fig" when the Fantastic One made his successful appearance on the 2011 version of "America's Got Talent," and boy, does Fantastic Fig have TALENT.  You can check his web thingy out right here.

From Left to Right - Fig, Newton, Carrie.

Literally, this guy is a one-man entertainment machine.  This may cost all of our other team of entertainers their jobs (Ed. Note: including us, you dummy), but every time I see Fantastic Fig at an event, I get the feeling that he could do the whole show for all 300 people, and keep every one of them fully enthralled with his style of magic for the full four hours.  I mean, he asked one man to name a card, any card.  He named the King of Spades, and poof!  It appeared, right out of the sky.

There it is.  See it?  Told ya.  Kudos for my "action shot."  First time I ever shot one.

Fastastic Fig always lives up to his name, and this night was no exception.  He and his protege', Newton, strolled thru the casino, doing specialized magic for each and every guest that asked.  He's tireless, I have no idea how to keep up with him.  It's impossible.  And his cat, Newton?  I'll tell you right now -- That is the nicest, most mellow, cutest assistant that a magician could ever have.  That cat lets people pet him, shoot pictures with him, he'll let you do just about anything, and always keeps his cool, just like Fig.  They make a good team, and we love seeing them at the events.

Well, that's all for now as we close out this special report from out in the field.  Our thanks to everyone at the WSH&B "Magic Hour" for making this still another fabulous evening.  (My kids are jealous, they want to meet Fantastic Fig and Newton so bad!)   Next Monday, we'll be back with our "Let's Play Games" series, when another fabulous game trainer will come aboard the Aces Casino Game Train.  (Ed. Note: Oh, now, THAT'S cute!)  Have a good weekend, and we'll see you on Monday with our Pai-Gow Game Trainer!

(Ed. Note: As a result of the "breaking Kiss-Cam News" on Wednesday, the Roulette Game Trainer blog edition scheduled for Thursday was pushed back to today.  Apologies to everyone that needed their Roulette fix yesterday.  Also, this is our 200th blog entry.  Our apologies to real writers everywhere.)

Aces Casino Blog "Not-So-Special Report:" We Now Interrupt Our Normal Blog Foolishness For Some Special "Kiss-Cam" Foolishness (Oh Yes, It's Worth It)

Aces Casino Entertainment has long been known around these here parts for two things - #1, being the top Orange County casino party company on the west coast, and #2, being one of the top info providers in the area of irreverent Aces Casino Blog goofiness.  Translation: If we find dopey, non-sensical video foolishness on YouTube or some other media source, we're going with it right away, EVERY TIME.

This would be one of those times.

Currently, the Blog crew is right in the middle of providing our loyal readers (all five of you, and no Mom, you don't count) with our month-of-May "Let's Play Games" series of casino game trainers, but we just got hold of some "Kiss-Cam" video footage that we had to get on our blog right away.

Yes, we LOVE us some "Kiss-Cam."

So, for today's venture into the pit of video irreverence, we post, for your enjoyment, not one, but TWO bonafide "Kiss-Cam" soon-to-be-viral videos.  Up first, the Kiss-Cam provides us with video evidence of what happens when the "Cam" finds a couple that looks to be having a failure to communicate.  We call this one "check the warranty on that thing," courtesy of the Fresno Grizzlies minor league baseball affiliate... (Ed. Note: Yeah, we know they faked it, but that's OK.  Our bloggers here at Aces Casino fake this blog twice a week.)

Remember, kids - Sports, cell phones and girlfriends don't mix.

And our other "Instant Kiss-Cam Viral Video" comes to us courtesy of our favorite hockey team, the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings.  We call this one "If you can't be with the one you love, honey, love the one you're with."  Our thanks to the Kings, as well as Barry's Tickets, for this sure-fire gem starring Matthew Perry...

Good thing he's he's not a fan of the San Jose Sharks.

That's all for this not-so-special report from the top Orange County casino night party company, Aces Casino Entertainment.  We'll push back the scheduled Thursday Roulette game trainer to Friday, and after that, we should be back on our normal Monday-and-Thursday blog sched posting days.

Unless the Kiss-Cam makes another appearance, of course....

Aces Casino Blog: "Wheel-Watch 2013" - It's Time To Check In With "SkyVue" and the "High Roller / Linq" and Find Out Just Who's Ready to Take Us For a Ride

Let it never be said that Aces Casino Entertainment (A.K.A. the best Orange county casino party company on the west coast) doesn't take the time to do the necessary follow-up work on some of the blog entries that appear on our semi-famous parakeet paper.  Back on February 28, our Aces Blog team stumbled upon a story in Las Vegas surrounding what we'll call the "Glitter Gulch Space Race," where two competing construction crews are currently hard at work trying to be the first team to build the first working Ferris - type observation wheel in Las Vegas.  (Ed. Note: You'll conveniently  find the link to that Feb. 28 story right here.)

For today's blog entry, we decided to check in with the two companies and find out who looks to be ahead in the race to charge $20 (a wild guess, let's see how close we come) for a ride on one of these rotating behemoths in what we thought was the best way possible - video testimony!  First up, let's look in on Howard Bulloch's development team, the guiding force behind SkyVue, the observation wheel that will become part of the Las Vegas landscape right across from the currently-named Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino...

"SkyVue," Jan. 2013.  Forget that image above, ain't even close to that.

OK, well, they're making SOME progress.  Remember, Mr. Bulloch's team had to suffer through some rough financial problems with SkyVue that set the builders back a few months.  (Ed. Note: Who are we kidding?  SkyVue had more liens against it than you could shake a stick at.)  So far, so good.. Now, let's take a peek at SkyVue's challenger, the "High Roller," currently being built at the "Project Linq" site across from Caesar's Palace....

"High Roller / Linq,"  in March, 2013.

After the Stewards' inquiry on the tote board, and after further examination of the two videos above, the Stewards are giving the first place lead (as things sit right now) to the High Roller.  As the crow flies, It's tough for anyone here at Aces Casino Entertainment (the Orange County casino party company leader) to predict that SkyVue can make up the necessary ground to be the first wheel operating in Vegas, but It's still early.  Personally, if you ask me (Ed. Note: We didn't, but that never stops you), I'm kinda likin' that High Roller.  Nice position on the strip, and the company building that monster observation wheel (namely W. A, Richardson Builders and the American Bridge Company) has an excellent track record in past experiences with this sort of endeavor.

That's all for now, but you KNOW the Aces Casino Blog team will be all  over this story until it's conclusion.  Hey, when you're the top Orange county casino night party company in the southland, you're expected to go the extra mile.  Who ELSE in our industry has written a twice-weekly blog for four years?  (Ed. Note: That would be us.)  Can you tell that we're very proud of what we've built here?  Just as long as they don't ask us to help them BUILD the High Roller.  We'd have to politely decline their invitation.  We don't BUILD 'em, we just RIDE 'em.

Oh, by the way - Yes, stop sending us e-mails -- We know about the supposedly-proposed THIRD observation wheel that has been on the drawing board since 2006 with a London-themed park around it, to be located (at last glance) on or around the old El Rancho site.  That twice-failed proposal is rearing it's ugly head again, but we're not holding our breath in regards to this one.  Anyone interested in catching up on this oft-maligned proposal can find it right here.)

OK, that's all for the Aces Casino Parakeet Paper for today, but next up on the docket -- The Month of May means that It's time to take our readers'  advice, and get back to the business of casino games.  And what better way to do this then to signify that the month of May on our blog is now officially "Game Trainer Month?"  Check it out next week, my friends, as we start off our "Let's Play Games" series with our top Blackjack game trainer.  Heck, that's just ONE of the game trainers we'll attack our faithful throng with... It's going to be a BLAST!  We'll see you on Monday, bring your "A" Game!
